Where do we start with our sweetheart Chester!??  

Chester's estimated year of birth is 2010. 

Chester is a gentleman and while he may seem standoffish, all you need is a handful of cheerios and you will win him over in no time.  He is often called "Curly" because his coat has a bit of curl to it. And is at times called Chester the Jester because he can be quite a silly guy sometimes.  We are working with him on being less afraid to lift his hooves and get halter trained.  Right now when the farrier comes we do use an oral sedation to make it a little less scary for him and ease his fears.... Not knowing where they came from or there past - we can definitely say he has come a long way from the donkey he was when he arrived.  

Chester is looking for a home to call his own where he will be loved and treated as he deserves.  While we can't erase his past we can promise him (and will stand by our promise) that his future will be SO MUCH BETTER!!

We love our donkeys and will only allow the best for them.  Please note to adopt one of our available donkeys you must either have at least one other donkey on your property or be willing to adopt at least 2 from our rescue. 

All of our donkeys will be up to date on shots when adopted.

Our male donkeys will be gelded before adoption.
